Krista Hovsepian is an actor, photographer, and filmmaker from Toronto, Canada. Before starting the Master in Visual & Media Anthropology, she recieved her B.F.A. Photography & Film Studies at Ryerson University School of Image Arts.
Krista is also professional actor, presently at Hines Management, Studio Players, & Flush Ink, a freelance photographer/designer, and stage manager for KW Youth Theatre Multidisciplinary Creator. In the past, her professional experience includes, actor, singer, and voice-over artist, acting coach, producer/assistant director for independent films and theatres, and camera operator for The Morning Benders Tapedek Sessions.
Krista's solo exhibitions include, where Childhood’s dreams are twined (Third Floor Gallery, Ryerson University) and Impressions (Kitchener City Hall). She has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Maximum Exposure (The Gladstone Hotel, Toronto), Maximum Exposure (Ryerson School of Image Arts, Toronto), Third Year Show (Ryerson Gallery, Toronto), and After Hours (Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate Institute, Kitchener).
Krista Hovsepian's published works include, s t r e e t s p a c e (by Krista Hovsepian, Foreword by Edward Keeble) and "Construction" (Ryerson University Third Year Catalog, Introduction by Caralee McLellan). She has also recieved an award for Leading Edge Category (Kitchener-Waterloo Arts Awards), Ontario French Immersion Certificate, and ZDP German Proficiency Certificate.
