The MA Program Visual and Media Anthropology is excited to announce that it will be relaunching with a new institutional partner, The University of Applied Science for Media, Communication and Management (Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft (HMKW)). With state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on hands-on experience, HMKW emphasizes applied learning, making them a fantastic partner in our endeavour to prepare students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in visual and media anthropology and its related fields.
The new program will retain a distinguished teaching staff as well as much of its existing structure, including its distance learning format, which allows students from all over the world to take part.
This new partnership will continue to reflect the goals of the MA program since its inception - to be the most contemporary and applied anthropology program in the world.
The application round is now open until Sept. 2019!
