You apply online via a central university website: Please follow this link, scroll down and click on "Online Bewerbung starten". (An English version of the assistant is available.) An "Online-Bewerbungs PDF" with an application number will be generated for you.
If you are finished with the online assistant, please print your Online-Bewerbungs PDF and before sending it to the given address below, attach the following documents.
For final processing you have to send us certified copies of all your documents, together with your printed and signed "Online-Bewerbung" and application form, before the end of the application period to the following address:
Third step: As soon as your application has arrived at the Freie Universität Berlin, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to an online-portal, where you can login with your application number to follow the status of your application.

Please note! Your application will be eligible only upon receipt of the hard copies at Freie Universität Berlin. Applications via Email are only for our information and will not be taken into consideration.
Accepted candidates must register at the Freie Universität Berlin during the first in-house class in Berlin and provide the original of their university diploma (a certified translation where required). Accepted students can also enroll before the in-house class, in person, once they have received their official admission letter.
