Mike Terry is an image-maker and collagist based in Oxfordshire, U.K. where he works as a producer for Studio Richter Mahr. He has previously worked as a photojournalist in the American West, Southern States, Germany, India and Haiti. He finished a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Utah in the USA in 2010 and was awarded a scholarship as a Fine Art, Music, Architecture and Dance Graduate Grantee of the Deutsche Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) through which he earned an M.A. in Visual and Media Anthropology at the Freie Universitaet Berlin. He finished his MA in 2013 with a thesis and photographic installation on the relationship between individuals and the built environment, specifically in the former American Zone of West Berlin.
Mike has lectured in the Department of Visual and Media Anthropology at the Freie Universität Berlin since 2014 where he developed and lectures the MA course Space & Place.
