Flow / 34 Min. USA 2012 / English

Flow explores the Vinyasa Yoga communities of Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles, California. Yoga practitioners share their intimate stories about the impact that the practice has had on their lives, well-being, and ability to heal. The film also touches on the issue of "yoga addiction" and the drug-like dependency that can sometimes manifest when one engages in a regular practice. These stories are layered over a vigorous single-shot vinyasa flow sequenced and performed by the filmmaker herself and, of course, a breath track because, after all, "everything is optional except the breath".
