Born in 1989, Côme Ledésert is a French filmmaker who graduated from the Freie Universität Berlin in Visual Anthropology in 2014. His live action short "Les Fidélités" was selected for the official competition at Achtung Berlin - New Berlin Award in 2014 as well as for the Shortcutz Berlin competition. His documentary short "Almut" was selected for several international film festivals in Estonia, USA, Canada and Germany. By intercutting animation with documentary footage, his M.A. film "Persisting Dreams" about Lampedusa focuses on the boundary between fiction and documentary as well as social sciences and art.
