Sarah Pink is a Professor working in the Design Research Institute and the School of Media and Communications at RMIT. Her work is usually interdisciplinary, although rooted in social anthropology, and where possible seeks to make connections between academic scholarship and applied practice. Most of her research has involved the use of (audio)visual methods and media. Her books include Doing Visual Ethnography (2007), The Future of Visual Anthropology (2006), Doing Sensory Ethnography (2009), Working images (co-ed 2004), Applications of Anthropology (ed. 2005) and Visual Interventions (ed. 2007).
