Nena Hedrick received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of New Mexico and an M.A. in Visual and Media Anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin. Her areas of interest include experimental documentary filmmaking, artistic ethnographic practice, environmental anthropology, and social activism.
She has carried out creative research projects in Spain, Germany and the United States. Her work has screened and exhibited in festivals, exhibitions, and conferences in Europe and the Americas.
