Nena Hedrick received her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology form the Univeristy of New Mexico in 2009. She recieved her M.A. in Visual and Media Anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin in 2015. Her areas of interest include experimental documentary filmmaking, artistic ethnographic practice, environmental anthropology, and social activism.
She has carried out creative research projects in Spain, Germany and the United States. Her work has screened and exhibited in festivals and conferences in Europe and the Americas.
